About Camouflage Patterns, Backgrounds and Other Camo Tips
Whether you're deer hunting in Canada, Wyoming or find yourself in Texas deer hunting bucks, (that seem to be in good supply) it helps if you blend in with your surroundings. So you don't want to leave on any white tail deer hunting trips without making sure you've packed your camo.|

Here are 7 camouflage tips for hunters who favor stalking or still hunting. Don't get any camouflage gear that has ultraviolet brigtheners or has been treated with UV blockers. (Does bright and camo really sound good together?) Have enough camo outfits to match the seasons you hunt. |
Grease paint your face so it isn't shining should you work up a sweat waiting out the whitetails. And don't forget to get your hands too.
Speaking of forgetting, put some grease paint on your eye lids. Otherwise every blink can potentially flash a warning to approaching deer.
And what about painting the bottom of your plywood deer stand? Use dark blue and gray streaks so it looks like the sky thru tree branches to any passing deer. Add to that by wearing appropriate camo prints for deer stand hunting yourself and you're good to go.
Spray paint any chains wire cables or padlocks with flat black spray pain to take away the shine.
If we're going to be anal, don't overlook any buttons, zipper tabs, belt buckles or metal grommets that might reflect sunlight. Felt tip them.
Even with an emphasis on camouflage, don't forget to be legal. Blaze orange cotton hats and solid orange vests can help you do that. Just realize blaze orange is not a requirement for hunters in all states.
