How long will I be hunting? From the crack of dawn until after dark. Just during mornings and evenings.
While more applicable to Texas type ranches, find out about trophy fees, if any?
What are the fees to field dress the animal.
What's the tipping policy?
What kind of sleeping arrangements are there? Heated or not?
Hot showers or not?
If need be can special diets be catered to?
Are washers and dryers avaialble to wash clothes?
How far to emergency medical facilities?
Cal offered one more good bit of advice. "The reaction you get, as well as the answers, can tell you a lot. If the person on the other end can't patiently satisfy your inquiries until you feel comfortable, think how they'll be once they got your money?"
"Anyway," he concluded, "those are some questions I'd ask potential Montana hunting outfitters."
