Yes it true that the George River herd alone has what? a half a million animals. Massive.
Plus there's the Leaf River herd too.
But don't forget. You can be knee deep in hunting opportunities one day and eating their dust the next.
"Caribou hunting success depends on that very same animal movement," Marvin clarified. "If you happen to be in the area during warm weather or rain, yeah, the migration slows down."
"When they're on the move the idea is to get ahead of them. Keeping an eye out for the larger bulls. Some outfitters will have established camps along the known caribou migration routes. But those routes can change."
"All I know", Marvin went on to say, "is my Quebec caribou hunting trips have been everything he had ever hoped for and then some."
