Gene had one other thing to add. "When it comes to boots make sure the soles are not some light color that telegraphs your location when sitting regardless of how much cammo you're wearing."
"Sure camouflage has sorta become "the uniform" of all who live for spring turkey season in Texas," he concluded. "And sure you want o look like one of the guys. But more than that, it's what can make the difference between just another a day in the field and a turkey in the back of your truck."
